Salary: £32,000 - £37,000(DOE) + Pension + BUPA

Leading provider of innovative solutions worldwide are seeking a VB.net Development Team Leader to head up their team working on the next generation of their state of the art software. The nature of this role is a mixture of hands-on technical and team leadership/management with significant autonomy to mould and build the team into a well focused engineering unit delivering exceptionally high quality products and services to their client base.

Candidates must possess exceptional skills in VB.net, XML, SQL Server 2005 (stored procedures / triggers / configuration etc), RDBMS schema design and optimisation as well as team leadership/management and client facing skills. The role will also entail travel to other offices in the north, as well as some, very infrequent, European travel.

Any knowledge or experience of ERP systems (eg Navision, MS Dynamics, JD Edwards, Movex etc), MRP systems, Windows CE / Windows Mobile devices, other RDBMS such as Oracle, or other programming languages(specially C# ) etc would be highly desirable.

The minimum educational requirement for this role is a degree in Computing/Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification.
