Our client is the leading global manufacturer of Ground Engaging Tools (G.E.T.), cutting edges, end bits, and related wear parts for a wide variety of construction and mining equipment. Our client manufactures over 12,000 tonnes of Steel per annum, They employ over 100 people at Teesside working directly for the plant in staff, production, and maintenance roles.

Due to internal promotion they are now looking to recruit a talented and experienced Project Engineer to manage projects from concept through to handover and acceptance. You'll work closely with suppliers, engineering and maintenance, technical and operations staff, to ensure that all projects are delivered on time within a budget to the highest quality standards and in compliance with all health and safety legislation.

Provide a summary of scope of operation of the job such as span of control direct/indirect, size budget managed scope of authority and making. Identify which KPI's the job is directly/indirectly accountable for.

-Projects to be delivered on budget and maximise benefit of investment for our client
-Spend to be accurately forecasted and controlled
-Effective start up and hand over
-Investigate, plan and deliver capital and revenue funded projects
-Projects to be delivered on time to budget and to meet specification
-Manage the site capital project plan

Experience and qualifications

Educated to HNC / Degree level you will have a minimum of four years project engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
