Our client is a multi national Oil and Gas/ Petrochemicals services provider UK world wide due to the large number of new contracts are now looking to recruit highly experienced Construction Manager.

Primary Purpose of Role

The Construction Manager will manage all field construction activities, working closely with the project management team.

To manage all on site field activities in a productive and efficient manner ensuring the commercial position of the company is protected.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and control of labour – all trades
• Day to Day planning of the works
• Maximise productivity
• Work Safely
• Completion of daily allocation sheets
• Report Progress
• Operate Company discipline procedures

Special Tasks

If the project is of a Shut Down or Turnaround Type, then amendments to the Major Duties will be added to accommodate the special conditions or requirement of supervising labour on live plants under permit to work conditions, with hazardous materials, etc.

Key Skills Required

Must have served a recognised apprenticeship,

Extensive experience in the industry, preferably 10 years on the tools with 5 years in a supervisory position,

Have recognised Supervisory Management Training and Development Scheme Certificates.

Hourly rate: £30-35 per hour all inclusive
Hours: 43 per week
Location: UK wide
