We are looking for a Street Lighting / Electrical Supervisor for a 3 month period to help in the supervision of scheme works in the North Yorshire Area.

You would be based out of the Leeming Bar office.

39 hours per week + any approved overtime

Pay rate £13.96 ph

To plan, review and safely manage site operations in line with the Company’s Policies and procedures. To develop individual performance to ensure that works activities are carried out efficiently, to agreed programme and specification. To develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, Clients and stakeholders for the benefit of the Company.

Must undertake, review and update site risk assessment prior to starting work and need to implement adequate control measures thereon, these should be in line with company SHE standards, policies and procedures.Monitor and ensure Golden Rules are complied with at all times by all personnel including sub contractors. Carry out site safety inspections in line with company SHE standards, policies and procedures. Ensure all operatives and sub contractors are trained and authorised to undertake duties required of them.Ensure site safety briefings/tool box talks/inductions are undertaken when required and recorded centrally.Regularly communicate with all site team members to ensure all relevant safety issues are understood.Prepare Health and Safety file for site where applicable, maintain and update as required and complete at hand over (in accordance with MSM).Liaise with customers to ensure the highest level of safety is maintained

Manage site operations to maximise Operational effectiveness and efficiency at all times by understanding how a contract has been priced (Handover) and agreeing and reviewing with the Foreman the Gangs targets to maximise profitability each and every day.Continuously improve target sets to reduce waste.Work closely with internal and external supply to reduce delays and costs incurred through delivery patterns.Agree completed daily working hours with gang foreman and sub contractors as necessary. ProgrammeCommunicate effectively with internal and external customers in relation to all site requirements. i.e. SHE, Programme, QualityAgree a programme to completion with client and regularly provide updates to ensure positive working relationship is required.Attend weekly meetings with other members of management team to agree programme, labour and plant resource requirements and feedback all relevant site information (Positive and Negative) to other members of management team.QualityManage site operations to ensure all works are completed to the highest standard and comply with contract specification and to relevant standards to prevent any remedial action. Manage testing requirements with contract specification and to relevant standards. Ensure all contracts are inspected by a Company representative with the Customer and the contract is approved/sign off prior to leaving site.
