A fantastic job opportunity has arisen in North East / Yorkshire area for an Assistant Section Leader/ Lecturer in Animal Management in one of the country's largest colleges of land-based education and training. Set in beautiful surroundings this is a great opportunity.

The successful candidate will be contributing fully to the colleges continued success. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Animal Management Section within the college. You will take responsibility as the first point of contact for external staff/ contacts at the centre. You will plan and supervise the learning experience of the students whilst ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of the college and examining and assessment bodies. You will carry out the responsibilities of a lecturer and teach approximately 29.6 hours / week

Skills experience and circumstances for this Assistant Section Leader/ Lecturer in Animal management job in the North East / Yorkshire area:

Essential: Qualified to NQF Level 5 e.g HND or equivalent in Animal Management/ Zooology/ Veterinary Science/ Veterinary Nursing or other relevant subject, Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or willingness to work towards these awards, experience of managing others and communicating effectively with a wide range of people, teaching experience, course management experience and / or curriculum development, full driving licence .

Desirable: A teaching qualification, A units, D32/D33, V units / D34
